It is a subspecialty of dermatology that focuses on improving the appearance of the skin and treating various aesthetic conditions through non-invasive or minimally invasive procedures. Its goal is to help patients achieve healthier, more attractive skin by addressing concerns such as aging, blemishes, scarring, acne, and other skin problems.

Melasma

It consists of increased pigmentation associated with hormonal changes, such as those that occur during pregnancy or with hormonal contraceptive treatments. It is a chronic problem and therefore will not disappear; the challenge lies in keeping it under control.

For its treatment, we offer new techniques such as Q-switched laser therapy, in addition to at-home routines that will help us keep it under control.

Acne

It is a skin condition resulting from the overactivity of the sebaceous gland due to hormonal influence. Treatment options include topical and systemic medications, as well as IPL and laser therapy, which can also be used to treat post-acne scars.

Rosacea

It is a condition related to acne and also stems from the overactivity of the sebaceous glands. It occurs in flare-ups that can be treated to prevent it from becoming chronic.

There is a form of rosacea called rhinophyma, which appears due to an excessive growth of the sebaceous glands in the nasal cavity, leading to an enlargement and deformity of the nose. The most severe forms of rhinophyma are more common in men. Treatment options include cosmetic and pharmacological treatments, both topical and oral. We also have light-based therapies such as IPL and vascular lasers.
